Who We Are

We are a rural, agricultural-based community located along the I-35 corridor between the cities of Waco and Temple, just minutes away from state of the art medical facilities, shopping centers and entertainment. The City of Bruceville-Eddy offers that small town appeal without hindering the ability to enjoy the amenities that Central Texas has to offer. Additionally, Bruceville-Eddy is home to the Bruceville-Eddy Independent School District and the Annual Bruceville-Eddy May Fest.

    Free Lunch Program 2024-2025

BEISD has just received information from the Texas Department of Agriculture that our Application Packet Submitted last Spring was approved,  qualifying the district for the School Nutrition Program.  What this means is that school breakfast and lunches will be free during the entire school year starting August 14th, 2024.  This does not, however, pay for ala carte items such as snacks, cookies, ice cream etc.

Welcome the Chapa family to BEISD

Bruceville-Eddy ISD is proud and excited to announce our new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach, Marcial Chapa III. Coach Chapa will be coming from Comanche where he was the Assistant Head Football Coach for the past 2 years. Coach Chapa, under the direction of Head Coach Jake Escobar, helped turn around the program from a 1-9 team, to a 10-2 District Championship team in his first year. In his second year he helped the Indians continue a winning season and add a Bi-District and Area Championship to their trophy case. Coach Chapa, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from around the State of Texas. He has battled against some of the best districts in Texas, with coaching experience in Anson, Iraan, Palestine, Lorena, and Henrietta. Coach Chapa will bring with him his Wife, Kym Chapa of 14 years,  who is also a fellow educator and former coach.  The two of them have 4 children together, Halen, Jovi, Motley, and Acey. We are excited to welcome Coach Chapa and his Family to our great town and School District.
